Fortnite: Battle Royale Review

Fortnite was a game that took the world by storm (you'll get it if you've played the game). This game might not be the first of its kind or have the latest graphics, but yet many people have it. Why is this? Because it's free. Such a great game for free? Why get PUBG if you could get this for free? Let's find out in this review.

One reason is the uniqueness of the game. Although the idea is the same as others, there are some key differences. First off is the ability to build. This makes for some unique battles, like making a fort to hide out in (which is the reason for the name) or using it to get to a chest. Sometimes, without using this, you can't get places. On the subject of building, you can also break stuff with your pickaxe. Keep in mind that to build you need resources (wood, brick, or metal).

One thing I personally like is the graphics. There is no blood, which means your parents will probably be fine with you playing this if you're not allowed to play bloody games. But even without the blood, the graphics are still good. I kind of like the cartoonish graphics of it. Note: this game looks even better with an Xbox One X.

If you like lots of items, then you have plenty to loot. There are plenty of different guns including tactical shotguns, assault rifles, snipers, pump shotguns, pistols, and more. There are also different ammo types, meaning there will be plenty of looting, which I like. It makes finding something useful even more satisfying. But there's even more than just guns. Bandages can heal you up to 75 health, and Med Kits heal you all the way. Shield Potions can help boost your health in a way, protecting you from hits until your shield is depleted. There are even grenades and rocket launchers if you need to break a fort.

Lastly, this game has lots of different modes. You can play alone (solo), with another person (duo), or with a squad of 4 people max. Another mode is 50v50, where 2 teams of 50 fight each other. If you're looking to get this game, no worries! Fortnite is available on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC/Mac. All of the versions are free, by the way. I hope this helped you decide whether or not you want Fortnite: Battle Royale! See you in another post!
